INTRODUCING // Dear You

Introducing to you; “Dear You” a dynamic 3 piece rock band from East Texas. Any pop/punk fan will love this band; they have everything on offer that you’d expect from a typical pop/punk/rock band. That is by no means a bad thing; the lyrics are very heartfelt and very catchy, so catchy that it draws you in and gets you hooked, the songs are contagious you could say. I can imagine they would be especially good live; it’s this kind of music that makes a good live show. A band has to get the crowd going and get them dancing and “Dear You” can definitely achieve that.

“Dear You” bring to you their new EP “Journals” which is set to be released this Summer. They’ve worked with Kevin Gates (Never Shout Never, the Ready Set) to bring to you a showcase of upbeat and infectious songs. They have a lot to offer and it’s hard not to bop along whilst listening to it, after a few listens I couldn’t help but sing along too. I can’t really choose a stand out track off the EP because I genuinely like them all; they make me think about the freedom and fun of summer. That said I can definitely imagine this band playing a summer festival, Leeds and Reading Festival, are you listening?

Without giving it all away, a lot of people can relate to the lyrics and be captured by the beat so if you’re a pop punk/rock fan then this band would certainly be suited to you. They’ve drawn me in and I’m glad I found them because I’m pretty much hooked.

Dear You debut EP “Journals” will be released July 22nd and available digitally July 23rd
