
The Warehouse Project returns in 2011 for its final season of events at Store Street. This year will see a plethora of the worlds leading players on the electronic music scene. The programme features the best elements of what has gone before, and of course a barrage of new shows and warehouse debuts.
The Warehouse Project has hosted events since 2006 but earlier this year they announced that 2011 would be the last ever WHP event! The opening event ‘THE BEGINNING OF THE END’ will showcase acts such as DJ Shadow , Hudson Mohawke, Jackmaster Previous acts who will be returning to play include Annie Mac, Erol Alkan & Jamie XX.
Although WHP primarily set out to be an electronic event it has expanded over the years and has been host to acts like Maximo Park. This year we will see alt rock band ‘The Kills’ play as special guests for ‘The Horrors’ critically acclaimed for the recent release of skying. Also among this years line up include recent Mercury Music Prize nominee James Blake.
Alot of the events have already sold out so be sure to get tickets for the ones available and be part of the last WHP at store street under Manchester Piccadilly Train Station.
Over 250 artists have been confirmed to play spanning over 30 nights and ending on the 1st Jan 2012
